HSA Meeting Minutes

SFdSCS HSA Board Meeting Minutes

Feb 9, 2012  @ 4:00 pm

SFdS Mercy House

Attendees: R .Costante, A. Gianelle, M. White, A. Palenchar

1. Upcoming Fundraisers

  •    Across America Auction in Parish Center, March 24
  •    Art to Remember, students creating artwork now with Mrs. Nacimbieni. Artwork and order packet will be sent home March 2, orders are due March 7.
  •    Unos Spirit Night and guest bartender event in planning stage for late March.
  •    Possible Basket Bingo event for Fall 2012 chaired by Michelle White.

2. Next general HSA meeting is scheduled for Feb 21 in school cafeteria at 5pm. The upcoming auction will be discussed and need for nomination of candidates for HSA offices of Vice President and Secretary for May 2012 election.

 

SFdSCS HSA General Meeting Minutes

Time: November 29, 2011 from 5:30 to 6;30 pm

Location: SFdSCS Cafeteria

Attendees: A. Gianelle, M. White, R. Costante, & A. Palenchar, approximately 15 parents and school board members

1.Treasurer Report: The past three fundraisers; Tupperware, Innisbrook,and Brax have netted about $4000 in profit for HSA.

2. Remainder of the meeting was a work session for planning of the upcoming Santa Social and Pancake Breakfast. Details as follows:

* Scheduled for Sunday, December 18, 2011 in parish hall and school cafeteria

* Breakfast of pancakes, sausage and hot beverage for $5,beginning at 8:30 am . Conrad Von Kollmar running the kitchen.

* Time 8:30 am to 12:30

* Pictures with Santa for $5, Michelle White working on equipment & photos, Angie McLaughlin decorating backdrop for Santa

* Music Sara Haverty

*Kids crafts Jess Emhoff, Sara Haverty, Abby Marsh, Amie Palenchar ((small fee or donation)

* Bake sale organized by Angela Villano, donations of cookies, cakes, etc requested. Ladies Guild to be contacted about contributing baked items as well.

* Volunteers needed for set up, serving food, and clean up

* School Spirit items will be for sale

* Pat Burbage, Religious Ed, organizing Santa's attic.

* Christmas Morning Basket raffle items collected by Amie Palenchar

* Event open to school families, religious ed and parish families, & general public

* Tables available for crafters and home based business vendors

* Flyer being created for Sunday Bulletin by Michelle White

 

SFdSCS HSA Board Meeting Minutes

Time: November 8, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:15 am

Location: SFdS Mercy House

Attendees: Fr. Aigner, R. Costante, & A. Palenchar

1.Spirit Nights for remainder of the year. One per trimester. Someone will check into Chilis and Unos for a night in mid to late January ( M. Von Kollmar was in charge of Spirit Nights last year,let's touch base with her). Adam's Ribs possibility for spring.

2.Christmas Social/Fundraiser event discussed for December. Went with idea of Santa Social/Pancake Breakfast because of short planning time. Pancake buffet, hot chocolate bar, Santa, craft making or games for kids? Parish Hall has been reserved for morning of Sunday, Dec. 18 from 8:00 to 10:30 am. Committee members needed for this event. ( A Gianelle, L Roskovich, & J Emhoff ). Will solicit volunteers via next week efolder.

3.Upcoming bowling night for middle school students. Possibility of skating night?
