CRITERIA FOR PARISHIONER FAMILY RATE - To receive the Parish tuition rate, all families must be officially registered with the Parish, be active and use the envelopes for the weekly offerings.

Children are admitted to school for kindergarten if they are 5 years of age on or before September 1. Students for grade 1 must be 6 years of age on or before September 1 and have successfully completed kindergarten. An original birth certificate is required along with a certificate of baptism for Catholics not baptized in St. Francis de Sales Parish. A health certificate containing current immunization information is required along with the Social Security number of the student. All registrations must be made in person with original certificates. All new families will be interviewed by the principal at the time of registration. A placement test may be given to all new students before acceptance is finalized. School records must be received before final acceptance. Admission is determined on a year by year basis with priority given to parishioners of St. Francis de Sales Parish.
Admission is determined on a yearly basis with priority given to parishioners of St. Francis de Sales Parish. The following criteria will be used to determine acceptance:
Saint Francis de Sales Catholic School and the Diocese of Wilmington offer limited forms of financial assistance. Families needing assistance must apply each year through the school office and obtain a copy of the Private School Aid Service Form. This form must be filled out and mailed to PSAS NO LATER THAN THE FIRST WEEK IN MARCH by the parent. This date must be followed to be considered for financial assistance.
Tuition and Fees must be current. A late charge of $25.00 per month will be charged to tuition for any overdue payments. Also $25.00 will be charged for any returned checks.
A registration/re-enrollment fee of $50.00 for one child/$100.00 for two or more children is payable at the time of registration/re-enrollment. This fee is non-refundable.
The supplemental fee per child has been added into the tuition.
Tuition paid is non-refundable.
