As we enter the joyous season of Lent, may we pray in Thanksgiving for the strength of our conviction and the gift of repentance. For this we pray:
Lord, during this Lenten Season,
nourish me with Your Word of life
and make me one
with You in love and prayer.
Fill my heart with Your love
and keep me faithful to the Gospel of Christ.
Give me the grace to rise above my human weakness.
Give me new life by Your Sacraments, especially the Mass.
Father, our source of life,
I reach out with joy to grasp Your hand;
let me walk more readily in Your ways as
you guide me in Your gentle mercy.
I ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever…..Amen.
WE NEED HELP!!
As I am certain you would agree, we have a wonderful food service program at SFdS. What makes it work begins with the amazing Angela Villano and the dedicated parent volunteers in the kitchen. However, we are in life support mode with needing to fill our need for kitchen volunteers. With this said, I humbly ask (beg of) you to consider spending a little more than a lunch hour in support of our kitchen staff needs. If you needs hours or simply want to chip in, PLEASE contact Angela at avillano@sfdscs.org to schedule your assigned day(s). Thank you!!
